It is perfectly legal. As the Arms Act 1959 stands today, one can have any combination of three firearms on license.

@goodboy_mentor - It depends from which state your arms license is issued. Like in Delhi license it is permitted to have 3 weapons at one license, whereas in UP only one weapon is permitted per license, multiple weapons are not permitted. You have to have two licenses to have one 0.32 rev and one 0.32 pistol.
