Colt 0.25 one of finest from my collection.

Post by Ramandeep » Sun Oct 02, 2011 6:28 pm

This is a splendid piece of firearm, originally it came with a mother of pearl butt, but unfortunately it was broken as it fell down, then i got this walnut grip made through a dealer in india, anyways this is fine weapon easily concealable(if u put in the watch pocket even security people cannot detect it) made pre WW2 era by colt, it is a 0.25 caliber pistol.

Ramandeep: that's a nice looking little Colt! Proof that a well-made weapon of good design is almost timeless. Thanks for sharing.

Timmy you would have loved the gun when it was in its full glory i mean with original mother of pearl butt, which unfortunately got broken and i had to get it from a gunsmith although he did a pretty good job with the walnut butt, see the picture in the following link my pistol had the same exact butt like this in the link(the second pistol shown in the link). http://www.coltautos.com/1908vpeng.htm
