Yesterday i did have an opportunity to shoot with an early manufacture IOF gun. It was not muzzle heavy and every inch a replica of the BSA guns. It handled quite well, i did not expect it to handle like an English sidelock in any case. It handled like a low priced Birmingham made shotgun and for the price it is excellent.

The shooter friend who owns this IOF gun is also buying an Indian O/U called Modern. This should arrive from Meerut ( UP ) later this week. If it handles well I too will buy one.
