hello all
2 days back my uncle bought a holland &holland 12 bore. it is very old gun in very good condition. it is a hammer gun ,what is interesting is that both barrle has rifling init[full] and it has rear sight also. the price was 65k. the best part is that i will be using it

Provided its in decent condition...thats a good buy :)

...and I was moaning about outrageous pricing in another thread... well there's still some hope for the next generation :mrgreen:

you can only shoot single ball with it used for big game in the past accuracy up to 80 yards pls do not shoot with numbered ,bb,lg,sg etc... there will be no accuracy on acount of rifleing in all great price

You can shoot numbers with it the only thing being that the grouping will not be a perfect circular one but will be Oval due to the rifling.
It is best used for slugs and ball.
Good buy. please do post pics, including the rifling/

Its a Paradox apparently.

Great to fire slugs and also punkin balls.

As for shots, no problem, its made by the best maker. Try patterning it, the only difference from a normal field gun is that the shot pattern has a halo ring of about 4 inches in the form of a band at 30 yards where the shots are very scarce ( with no. 6 shot )

It can be used to field held skeet as well, no problem.

From what Cherian has written, the entire barrel is rifled.

Congrats pal. Are you sure it is shotgun, could it be an old Black Powder Express ? In either case an excellent gun, you enjoy by shooting it and let others enjoy by posting some pictures....

Full barell is rifled ? Is it a 12 Bore rifle from the black powder era ?
