Was posting a reply to this yesterday when the entire wiring caught fire.
John S,
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Do you have to get the gun proved?Is it normal practise to fire a punt gun with a lanyard?Interesting firing mechanism.What size shot do you use in the cartridges?What is the shot weight?Are the barrels choked?
The cartridges sure look well packed
Left over wrapping from the Christmas holidays? Do you tie a ribbon on them as well
Nice cloud of smoke from the business end.

yes all guns are proofed in england ,or they are worthless pieces of junk ,.yes it is normal to fire a puntgun with a landyard , unless you realy like extreme pain and dissfigurement , the wrappings are not some seasonal left overs , it is a material called fablon , being sticky on one side and plastic give a waterproof finnish , the shot size is BB , as for a ribon !, only when contact is a guarentee ,..........

How do you aim that contraption?Seems,it would be more difficult to shoot something with it than with a regular shotgun. No chokes?Googled for Fablon.I am sure that the makers never though of this use for it.
