Your licence application has to be decided within 60 days from the receipt of the police report as per the new Arms rules 2016. Just wait for two months. If nothing materialises, sue him for default of service. Please note:- No police( SP), forest dept. , tashildar is empowered or mandated to RECOMMEND or OBJECT your licence. Even if all give no objection , the DISTRICT MAGISTRATE can decide anyway. So wait and keep us posted.

Thank you Veeveeaar for taking time to respond. I received the police report on 2nd of November. I'll wait for a few more days and will update you.
