Hello everyone.... I have one Webley and Scott SBBL gun which is very old but in working condition. My father had acquired this from a Govt auction during 1979 in Odisha. Perhaps this was used in world wars. I have acquired this from my father by transfer after getting an arms license valid in Odisha only. Now I just want to know what will be the right selling price of this gun. Please advice me. Regards.

Hi,
Is this with a safety or a hammer? How many inches is the barrel? Can it be used to shoot spherical balls or slugs made by Shaktiman.
Please do post pics!!!

Hi,
After a long time I am able to answer. This is with hammer and saftey. The barrel is 32 inches long. It can shoot spherical balls as well as catridges made by shaktiman, adtram, k.f. etc.
Please let me know how to post pictures here.
I don't know the procedure to upload pictures.

It is best gun for self defence SBBL is slowly but phased out even my family have eagle SBBL exact copy of ur gun made by Santokhoo have been fired many times .My relatives have Sikander pakistani gun during 1971 pro pak civil groups surrendered arms in Bangladesh these guns were in bulk which were actioned to Indian army officers Sikander gun is best gun in SBBL category but no buyers now we will soon see phasing out of DBBL also due to craze of Pump actions.Keep for urself or anyone in ur family u will get very less price further these guns have longer range and quick reloading system.

Thats a great family heirloom; I agree with Dsingh and others keep this shotgun. Webley adn Scott made pretty decent shotguns, you could probably trace the workmen who touched this shotgun. If gun handles fine and is tight then SBBL one knows to shoot properly and a solid one , will see you through all situations. A friend whose family has amazing collection of guns still relishes and like his old american made SBBL which shoots per him a tight pattern.Good luck

I have just come across a " Sikander" shotgun belonging to an Late Colonel of the Army, the license for which expired a long time ago. Since the gun is more than 50 years old , I suppose it is classified a curio now and can be kept by the family without a license as long as they do not shoot it or carry it anywhere. Am I correct?
