Very interesting. Remember seeing this on shot gun world. it seems the buttons works as a trigger

How do you shoot it then?

The screws like button in the second photo work as triggers. You press them to fire. Kaiser Bill had a deformed left hand. It was shorter than his right. He also had a modified Mauser C-96 to shoot deer.
