Hi Sa-ali,

the write up is fascinating and much appreciated... keep us posted on its actual use and perhaps work towards a detailed product review.

thank you all for the words of appreciation.

I am in process of getting my license empty by selling off what i currently own, so that i can actually get my gun and give the next level of reviews, which will be much more detailed and more from usability perspective.
But yea due to the process involved of selling and buying, i dont think it will be anything sooner, it will be another month or so :(, got to serve 45 day notice

Dear friend,

First let me thank you for the detail information on Indian O/U. I just spoke to Mr. Afzal.
I am also looking for a similar gun which you saw in jammu. It appears to be a good piece to start trap & skeet .
Kindly let me know about the performance if you have got the Indian O/U. Do'nt worry about EN-8 barrel. I am from steel industry so trust me, it will work as long as it is defect free. Do post your reply

Update is that i will be able to get my license free on the 9-Nov, i have applied for sale permission, which of 45 days :(. any weekend after i will travel to jammu.
Cann't comment on the SxS price, as i have not checked it out, nor i am aware that it was the ejector system or what grade of steel is getting used in that.

Not saying on behalf of Sa_ali but he has made a decent post and there is some more info from Amjad another member in this regards. Khairudin contact info is on the forum just call them and get the info first hand this way it isnt heresay and confirms the facts from another source which would be beneficial to the board. I would recommend a trip if possible since you seem to be close to Jammu - just a suggestion every one to their own.

Good luck

hello mr ngrewal,
am having conjuctivitis so did not read all posts in this threads.talk to Factory directly or visit(will be better).
sxs prices are around what a member quoted here.but when yoou come personally you get thing at around dealers price.
material used in both guns is same but O/U is special in terms of workmanship.
cant compare sxs and o/u as far as manufacturing and precision engineering goes.
regards
amjad

Hi

It time for this thread to come to live again. :D
First sorry for the delay, it was due to lot of things, but pretty eventful time frame.

I got the gun itself in the July last year, but did not post on the forum as i wanted to clear my own doubts and general question which all other members would have.

So today finally my Khairuddin O/U debuted on the KS Shooting range Shot complete 1 round of the Trap, ammo used was Clever Pro
http://www.clevervr.com/us/catalog.html.

There was 1 misfire, but i guess that was due to my mistake of doing wrong trigger.

The barrel heating was acceptable, even a Top shooter present there, i got it checked from him, he said it was oki.

Detail to follow, So far i have i have shown it 4 top shooters, who have or are still representing india they are were amazed at the quality of the barrel, balance of the gun.here are few pics.
Dsiclaimer: I am not trying to compare it to Beretta or Perrazi. For me the gun is shooting straight and having balance is more than enough for the price paid :D

It is still double trigger
:D , So please dont ask or tell why not single trigger.

congrats sa-ali on getting your o/u
great to hear that top shooters liked t quality and balance
here in punjab i inquired about kharrudin o/u and didn't get any positive feed back from various gun stores
infact none of them had ever sold one, but still held a bad opinion . afzal ji needs to work on marketing these beauties
i plan to visit jammu and pick up one
how was your experience in transporting the gun to delhi
I'm in punjab and have an all india license but still mr afzal is saying i need a permission to buy from the DM jammu
because i'm a buyer from outside the state
could you throw some light on this issue

regards
ds
