Ammo cost of .22lr and 30-06 is 3x time previous year per ammo cost.like .22stinger box of 50 cartridge is sold 2022 at 2500rs but now 6000rs in many states of india.and other 30-06 s&b was 200 per cartridge now 450-500 rs per piece.iof also have .22 and new 30-06 ammo but all know the performance of its products.i see day by day price hike and the dealer told me it is very hard to find imported ammo in future if find cost is like sliver gold.there is any chance of price down and to be normal like past years?i would like the senior and knowledgeable member of this channel like vinnet vetrean ji and other respected member please review and give suggestions on it.thank you

I don't think the cost of 30 06 ammo will go down, it may not increase for some time or else who will buy them

Price is up because Govt wants to discourage import and wants people to buy made in India. Govt is issuing very limited ammo import licenses.

The main cause of misfires in kf 30 06 is mostly because of bad quality priming caps which are not consistent and which can be rectified very easily considering that they are charging Rs 250 for a single cartridge

They should also come up with full metal jacketed rounds currently they are only making soft point bullets
