Drones on New Years Eve

Following the bomb blast last week we had a couple of these flying around on new years eve. BTW there were cctv attached to them.

Think we getting closer to the concepts of star wars

Its a normal Quadcopter with a camera and you'll find one of these in every engineering colleges since these are fun to make and can fly. I doubt its usage as a security measure owing to the range, the hassle needed in flying one, the battery, the manoeuvrability. Saying this because I've made a lot of these in my colleges, with cameras, trays, fancy laser lights.

On that evening it was fun for the first few minutes then they really were flying around. Camera mounted drones may be used in various areas like crop protection, cargo delivery and wildlife photography. The key word to their success would be solar charger and reliable connectivity.

Do you still have the one you made it college. Could you show it to us.
