Mark, life has these markers. Chronographs have always been markers of progress....celebrations for our achievements :) Love your comment about 'stuff' unless it has meaning.

Brihaji, that JRD Tata watch is awesome! The logo is of the old Tata Air Service (his original mail flights) I believe??
Cheers!

One of Brihaji's watches reminded me of one of mine!

Right: My Dad's Omega Automatic retirement watch.

Since I'm already far afield from tactical watches, I'll save the pocket watches for another post.

Yes :D
The 3 Pharisee inscriptions mean:
1. Good thoughts
2. Good speech
3. Good action
The embossed symbol:
The Faravahar is one of the most common symbols in the Zoroastrian religion. Historically, the symbol first appears on royal inscriptions, circa 6th century B.C. The name of the symbol is written and pronounced in different ways, including farohar, frohar, frawahr, and fravahr.

Thanks, gents! I love the self-winders. It's a way of conserving energy and getting a workout at the same time. (Maybe I should enter this as my activity on the fitness thread?) :-)
