For the Delhi Darlings....
There is a Cold Steel Balisong available at a South Delhi Mall... can't vouch for the authenticity but does deserve a dekko...
He's asking for 6K... the blade is about 4-5 inches and looks robust...
I couldn't enquire more, other than glance at it and ask the price, due to the 'Valentine's Pressure' on my arm and a strong rebuke...

Re: Balisong or butterly knife
Me and my dad both collect knives.
I am obsessed with Knife design, metallurgy, and heat treatment.
But what I have spent the last 30 years looking into is how to put a sharp edge on a knife.
I have pretty much every sharpening system ever released and a few of my own design.
Have a huge collection of diamond stones and water stones in different grits. Belt sanders and all kinds of power tools for sharpening knifes.
I restore edges and knifes for friends as a hobby. (Sorry its not a commercial operation because there is no way you can justify spending 5 hours restoring an edge).
The law says 9"long by 2" wide. But if you look closely. The balisong and the automatic or assisted open knifes are not legal. Also Cut Throat razors are not legal. Even though I have been able to import a few German Cutthroat razors via friends returning from Germany.
Also just because the law says it legal does not mean you can walk into a mall or restaurant or movie theater.
Right now I am looking at sourcing or making some Damascus steel to make some Kitchen Knifes for my wife and mother.
I have imported almost every modell every made by Ganzo, Enlan, Semeru and other good china brands. Who I feel offer good value for money.
I also do exotic wood scales for knifes. And Razors. But all as a hobby.
