traditional archery bows

Post by tradarcher » Thu May 26, 2016 7:47 pm

I would like to know how many Indians are interested in traditional archery bows....it can be shot for improving concentration and since the person has to walk to collect the arrows its also good exercise also it helps develops upper chest muscles..... Its also fun to arrange shooting completions and games...and if a person likes they can progress to more serious archery like Olympic type.

I started off making selfbows and now I make bamboo backed reflex deflex or reflexed bows. I am thinking about making fiberglass longbows in the near future.....I make my own arrows from wood....I wish to have a chronograph to check the speed of my bows...
I like shooting too. But since I make bows I keep changing my bows I think it affects my accuracy...i think its good to stick with one bow....but I don't shoot as often as I would like since I spend a lot of time trying out new bow designs etc
