Rajyawardhan- the flag bearer.

Post by shooter » Mon Aug 04, 2008 11:50 pm

It was with great pleasure that i read today that Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore has been selected to be the flag bearer and lead the Indian squad at the olympics.

It was an apt choice and im sure he will do the nation proud once more.
Let us all extend our best wishes to him and the 8 other shooters (and the archers too).

My very best wishes are always with our team. I hope they do us proud. Rathore is a right choice, not only as a proven achiever, but simply for the wonderful gentleman that he is. A wonderful balance of power, dignity, humility and consideration...
Among all the high achievers that I have met, I will always consider him a leap above the rest :)

If anyone has the info please do let us know if its being shown on tv and what time/channel.
I am specifically looking out for the shotgun events (men) incl skeet although we have no representation there...

Cheers Rohit.
