We missed taking a video of the groupings on the reactive targets. We have to make some videos of the hole in hole groupings.

Excellent, thanks again! Great find!

I should hasten to add that this site has some nice information on the TT-33 (sometimes called the "Star" for the marking on the side), the CZ-52, and the CZ50/70. Also, there are some write-ups on Mosin Nagant, AK-47, and SKS rifles -- he has a nice little site here!

Tommy Gunner sells violin cases for their (Auto Ordinance)Thompson sub gun repros
A little spendy though. It wiill fit a 3' 6" length long arm.
That is one gangster way of carrying the tommy gun!
I have been prowling ebay to get an idea of what is out there. By measuring things, maybe I need a bass case.

The tommy gun in a violin case was the classic movie way of transporting them. One of those would put a smile on the face of everyone at the range!

Well you can try naphthalene balls which usually size around 3/4 to 1 inch. Good enough for 50 yds & will explode as well :D

Hi Guys,
Last week-end’s (2nd Nov 2014) Plinking Session was a totally interesting, rewarding & soul satisfying experience for Ankesh, Kshitij, Your’s truly & the new entrant ‘My Grandson, RUDRA who just turned 13 last August.
The ARs in use were:
1.Ankesh’s HATSAN AT44 – 0.177 - PCP
2.Kshitij’s DIANA P1000 – 0.22 – PCP
3.Briha’s PH NX100 – 0.22 – Gas Ram

A reactive target was set up at 50 yards & all scopes were zeroed in for that distance.
The targets comprised of Beer Cans, Water Bottles, Colored Chalks & Eggs……

Over 300 pellets from 10.2gr for the Hatsan, 15gr / 18gr for the Diana & NX100 were shot which began at 9.30am & lasted till 3pm….

The surprise part of the entire session was ‘Rudra’s’ shooting skills who cracked Eggs, Beer cans, Colored Chalks & Water bottles with ease.
I sincerely thank both Ankesh & Kshitij for their instructions to RUDRA on Safety, Sight alignment, trigger pull & follow through which were very consummate & thorough….(Thank you Guys for your care, affection & instruction shown & given to Rudra – You Guys Rock!!!)

Some excellent slow motion videos of the eggs getting blasted were shot by Ankesh….he should be posting these soon….watch-out!!!

@brihaji, it was our pleasure to have Rudra and you to accompany us. As you rightly pointed out, the kiddo is a natural talent.

Waiting for winter to set in so that we can shift to the longer part and set up the 100m range :)

Brihaji, that pic is invaluable........... passing on the talent to the next generation! Would suggest you print and frame it!

Guys, you have another "junior shooter" hopping to join you .......... although he needs to use the Bren hold rather than the artillery one. Unfortunately, he had a Taekwondo competition last weekend. We'll join you sometime in the next couple of weekends.

Kesh, if you need a machete or two, give me a call.

I agree! Brihaji, this pic of you and Rudra goes to the very core of why we are here! That's an excellent statement, sir!

When is Rudra signing up here?! :-)
