So as I wrote in another post/topic, my NX100 Club Elite has been having some shooting problems. After speaking to the company I am told the solution is to replace the lip seal.
I wonder if it is a good idea to replace the seal myself. I am somewhat handy with mechanical repairs but I have not opened the mechanism of a gun before. Or just send it in for servicing. Any advice will be nice.
I see these two videos are fairly detailed
Please advise.

Like your spring compressor innovation.

I am not the maker of any of those videos.
I was just asking if it is advisable for a person (somewhat mechanically competent but who hasn't repaired a rifle before) to attempt to disassemble and reassemble an air rifle by following those videos.

It is a worthy endeavour. But you need to make a spring or ram compressor before getting into it. The satisfaction about learning about your air rifle is rewarding in itself not to forget the money saved.
