The Jacana eggs were photographed at Forbes Sagar. A man made lake just off the Cauvery and part of the stretch conserved by the Wildlife Association of India (WASI).

Beautiful images well captured taking advantage of prevailing light!!!!
Well said Mack....First one has to see a picture in one's mind, frame / compose with precision, set aperture & shutter compatible with available light and finally capture it!!!
When it comes to people its the situation / mood & moment that creates a great photograph.....
Keep them coming.....

The Masai going about their routine of making fire. The old man had his hands just about a foot above the ground. I placed the camera below and clicked. Luckily the picture came out ok

That day GOD was playing chauffeur, fishing guide and photographer to the two
badaa saabs from NCR.
Blighters did not even tip me!
GOD did include pics of both his sons, hoping against hope, that people will imagine him to be a handsome fellow.
P.S.: What fun it would have been had the Masai placed his fire bundle on your head.

Had he done that, I too would have looked like a G.O.D
Even the Masai know that the world can handle only one of that

It's been ages since I have made significant contribution to this amazing thread. In last eight month I was fortunate enough to visit many wildlife sanctuaries/National park and capture few nice wildlife moments. All the images have been made using Canon 60D + Sigma 150-500mm combition. Hope you will all enjoy the pics
Also, It's been two years since I got myself into nature photography! I was planning since long to start my own blog on wildlife photography as the subject is quite close to my heart. Here's the link to my first blog on "Top 10 Incredible Tips For Improving Your Bird Photography" ..Do check it out! Feel free to share the link and of course comments and critique are welcome
