Showing Delhi; rather I must add more that three-fourth of India is in a critical state of Voilent crimes (IPC) ..
.. and our authorities says 'there is no grave/significant threat to the life of applicant' when someone applies for Weapon License .. thereby resulting the rejection of the application of the applicant .. preventing a man to fight against the bad ..

Expand the pic to see the truth .. and this is not even 1 % because these figures denotes incidences/crimes which are reported and only of IPC and not CrPC .. however we all know that how many crime gets reported w.r.t. number of crimes which actually happens ..
We drive cars .. some people drive carefully .. some drives it rash, but we give license to every Tom, Dick and Harry who applies for it .. Now these frats (not necessarily Brats) take a two tonnes weapon and start mowing down the road and people also .. but we still give licenses to invite new frats .. day-by-day, year-by-year ..
AND on the other hand .. if a person goes for applying for a gun license then they ask Family Details .. Work Details .. psychopathic analysis .. requirement/need .. medical report .. Financial Report .. Class .. capacity .. blah blah blah ..
This is hypocrisy .. legal age for driving/voting/apparently for every thing is 18 (or 21) years but (it is a big BUT though) what do you think - if a major/adult (bearing 18 or 21 years of age) goes and apply for weapon license!! to this I hope; we all know the answer ..
If this is it and concern for civilian lives are a real bothering issue for the Law-makers then they should ask same set of questions while one applies for a Driving License .. Family Details .. Work Details .. psychopathic analysis .. requirement/need .. medical report .. Financial Report .. Class .. capacity .. blah blah blah .. and then if suitability is acheived then only grant the license ..
Well .. nothing much to say ..
Authorities should realise that the use (or misuse) of resources are very much case subjective and they should not impose a general restriction on these (such grave) vital resources .. after all it's my life and I have got the right to save it; by any means whatsoever ..
They should realise that a crime (often deadly) is committed through various weapons and means; even by police personnels and Jawan(s) of para military forces and military (we have read/seen/heard several such cases of shooting in distress), but seldome it is committed from a licensed weapon .. it is for self defence and is only shall be used for such causes ..
They should see us and recognise us individually and not like herd' ..
