Hi Guys,

I am sure some of the gentlemen from the forum have bought IOF Anmol - can you please post the original picture / video of the same. As no one have seen the "masterpiece" yet.

Recently, it is seen that all are buying from Field Gun factory....have anyone bought from Small Arms factory in 2011, if yes, please share your experiences and picture of the new model.

Cheers...safe shooting.

I would like to see that too.
So far, it looks like the Anmol is a figment of IOF's imagination. No one has been able to produce anything but a photoshopped photo of the standard IOF .32 revolver.

It has been nearly six months since Anmol is available for the customers but no one on IFG has reported of seeing or handling one.:(

This is a line from a hindi film song. Translated to english, it means "show your glimpse"

Hi Guys,

It is sure now as @xl_target rightly quoted, looks like anmol is figment of imagination from IOF.

Thanks...@goodboy_mentor for translating for Dr. Jaya Kumar.

Anmol is not a figment of IOF's imagination. Its available on their site for sale with price, application form, factory address and telephone numbers.http://ofbindia.nic.in/index.php?wh=Purchase&lang=en

Only if they knew how to use photoshop to its full potential they could have done a better job

Gentlemen,

IFG member pran80 wrote this here ....... http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... &start=585
Long barrel Anmol revolver is sold by Small Arms Factory and not FGF. I came across one gentleman in the gun shop who had purchased an Anmol revolver but I could not handle it or take photos of it as my request was politely declined.
The touts told me that the maximum number of Anmols are being purchased by Arms Licencees in U.P. with very few from outside of U.P. opting for it. May be the press coverage of Anmol launch in vernacular new papers are a reason behind it. Another reason could be that waiting period for Anmol is about 3 months which is more than for Mark III revolver at FGF.
best,
Rp.

Hi All,

4 more months past that the last post in the thread, that was by doc, has any fellow IFGian yet seen any real pic or video or actual "Anmol", or the "Anmol" is still kept in the safest safe of IOF.

:)
Cheers.....

Few days back an idea popped to me. The OFB must have displayed their priceless Anmol - the one which uses rust free powder  during the DefExpo which recently concluded in Delhi. Did a google search and spent almost half a day trying to locate it among thousands of pics from DefExpo but could only find pics of INSAS family and .315 sporting rifle.
Did any IFgian in delhi had a chance to attend DefExpo and had a chance to see it?

P.S. i had seen it in Kanpur but my request to photograph or handle it was turned down by the owner.

Regards,

Pranjal
